Last night's 8-4 friendly win at Quorn was basically a second-string outing, but the trip to Rockingham Road tomorrow will be very much a top-class affair as it marks the fact that the start of the season will be only two weeks away. There could still be more additions to the squad, even before tomorrow's game, and Pearson is mindful that the clock is ticking towards the time when he will have to name his side to open the season against MK Dons.
