Chinotimba Calls It a Day

Posted to the web 25 July 2008 Harare NATIONAL vice-chairman of the Zimbabwe War Veterans' Association Cde Joseph Chinotimba has resigned from the Harare City Council where he was a chief inspector in the municipal police. Cde Chinotimba confirmed his resignation yesterday saying he quit to concentrate on his political career and businesses. He also said his farewell party would be held at Town House tomorrow. The war veteran was the Zanu-PF House of Assembly candidate for Buhera South constituency during the harmonised March 29 polls. Cde Chinotimba said although he lost in his bid to represent the ruling party, he was still committed to assisting and serving Zanu-PF in the constituency.
