GEORGIAN PUNDIT SAYS ATTACKS AGAINST BAKU-TBILISI-KARS RAILWAY POSSIBLE Kavkas-Press July 23 2008 Georgia Tbilisi, 23 July: Yerevan has a delicate and careful attitude towards Javakheti [Georgia's region that has a significant ethnic Armenian population], [Georgian] expert in Caucasus issues Mamuka Areshidze told Kavkas-Press. The reason has to do with [Armenia's] political location and relations with neighbouring states. Georgia represents the only vital artery for Armenia, because of [Armenia's] problems with Turkey and Azerbaijan. Georgia is the only communication means with the outside world for Armenia, and it has been largely provisioned from [Georgia's] sea ports.
