July 25 (Reuters) - Seven blasts hit the Indian IT city of Bangalore on Friday, killing at least one person and injuring around 15 others, police said. Here are some facts about the city: GEOGRAPHY: Located on the southern Deccan Plateau at an altitude of 920 metres (3,000 feet), Bangalore is the administrative and commercial capital of the southern state of Karnataka and has an area of 225 square km (87 square miles).
