The current chairman, Brady Whitlow, will become vice chairman. Gall has 33 years in banking and was chief executive of Western Sierra Bancorp of Cameron Park, which was sold to Umpqua Holdings Corp. in 2006. Commerce Bank, which was founded last year, is changing its name to Sierra Vista Bank. President and chief executive Greg Patton said it's an effort to give the bank a more distinct...
