STANWOOD -- A four-car pile-up just west of the Mark Clark Bridge on Highway 532 on Wednesday night snarled rush-hour traffic on the only route on or off Camano Island. The pile-up began when a pickup truck was trying to make a left turn into a roadside berry stand just before 5 p.m., Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said. One person was taken to the hospital as a precaution, officials said. It took nearly three hours for traffic to clear and begin moving normally.
