Memphis, TN - When 17 year-old Jacqlyn MacDonald seriously injured her leg during a basketball game, she went to The Med for help. But Jacqie says the help she desperately needed never arrived. "It was frustrating," she says, "I was told I couldn't have ice for a very painful leg. I couldn't get any pain meds, not even Ibuprofen. So the service was very frustrating to me." After waiting six hours in the emergency room, and still very much in pain, Jacqie left the hospital. She and her teammates are from the Seattle, Washington area and they're in town this week for The River City Classic basketball tournament. Jacqie and her coach, Jamie Prescott, say they are shocked by the lack of medical care they received in Memphis. "It was too long to get no attention," says Prescott.
