"The problem you run into is if you're trying to be someone else," he said Wednesday by phone as the group traveled to Texas for three shows this weekend. "You sing it the way you think it should be sung." The rock-pop band charted hits from the later 1970s into the early 1990s, mainly on Atlantic Records. Hansen said Foreigner always finds standout crowds at House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, its concert stop for Thursday.
