The Internet Society (ISOC) has announced the names of those selected as Fellows to attend the next two Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) meetings. As part of its long tradition of helping build technical capacity, ISOC provides a Fellowship program that enables technologists from developing regions to attend the IETF, while also pairing them with an experienced mentor to integrate their participation rapidly. This fellowship round attracted 70 applications resulting in nine fellowships awarded. The Fellows come from nine different countries, including Ethiopia, Pakistan, Fiji, Tuvalu, Congo, Chile, Costa Rica, India, and Venezuela.
