Razon: Other cops likely linked to drugs

MANILA, Philippines—The former police chief of Dagupan City who is under investigation for alleged links to a La Union “shabu” lab must have had cohorts in the service working with him, the Philippine National Police chief said Thursday. PNP Director General Avelino Razon told reporters at Camp Crame that Senior Supt. Dionicio Borromeo likely had subordinates involved in the operation of the shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) lab located in Barangay Binmotobot, Naguilian. Police raided the laboratory on July 9 and reportedly discovered enough equipment and ingredients to produce P1-trillion worth of shabu.
