TOKYO, July 25 (Reuters) - Japanese Finance Minister Fukushiro Nukaga said on Friday that he had exchanged views with Bank of Japan Governor Masaaki Shirakawa earlier in the day on the Japanese economy. Nukaga told a news conference after a cabinet meeting that the two had also discussed the world economy. 'We gathered to exchange opinions and share our views on the economy,' Nukaga said. 'We can take steps flexibly if we share our views on a regular basis.' Nukaga said that top government spokesman Nobutaka Machimura and Economics Minister Hiroko Ota had also attended the meeting, which was held at the suggestion of Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda.
