The K-Tribe got the series split with Potomac, winning the series finale 7-5 Thursday night in Woodbridge, Virginia. Carlton Smith (8-5) picked up the win and is now tied with Josh Tomlin and Hector Rondon for the most K-Tribe wins with eight. Kinston got another good outing from the bullpen as Neil Wagner and Vinnie Pestano combined for 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. Pestano got his fourth save of the season and second in as many nights. Kinston bolted out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first after Nick Weglarz scored on a Carlos Rivero RBI single.
