In the week since “The Dark Knight” debuted, the latest Batman movie has received one glowing review after another — and deservedly so. It's an unflinching look at vigilantism, deftly mixing social commentary with explosive spectacle. As a self-proclaimed film nut, I was excited to see a movie in which almost everything seemed to work —from the tense script to the skillful cinematography. Of course, those things are being upstaged by one particular facet of the film — the late Heath Ledger's final completed performance. I won't lie: his is a dizzying portrayal of The Joker, combining perfect parts calculation and insanity.
