Guard Friesen leaves Montana State

Associated Press - July 24, 2008 7:24 PM ET BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - Phil Friesen, who started at point guard for Montana State last year, has left the team. Friesen averaged 5.5 points per game last season after transferring from Citrus Junior College. KWYB in Bozeman reports that Friesen wants to transfer to a school closer to his home in California.
