Scot notches bizarre three-set win over Wawrinka I had to stay tough in the third set because Stan was playing well. Andy Murray reached the quarter-finals of the Toronto Masters with a 6-2 0-6 6-4 win against Stanislas Wawrinka. The British number one, seeded eighth, looked set to make comfortable progress while dominating the opening set, during which Wawrinka required a visit from the physio due to a right knee injury. But the wind started to get up in the early stages of the second set and Murrary's game became so error-strewn, including several complete air shots, that Wawrinka was able to level at 1-1 without losing a game.
