"Splat, splat" went the gun

Richard White fired off round after round Wednesday afternoon in Avondale, police say, aiming at children, teenagers, county employees. His targets scattered in the 600 block of Rockdale Avenue. Nobody got hurt, it seems. White’s alleged weapon of choice was a paintball gun. The 19-year-old Avondale man was arrested shortly before 2 p.m. on a charge of inducing panic.
