Published: Thursday, July 24, 2008 50 Cent's (Grade C) beef with Taco Bell is going to court, reports Reuters. The bullet-ridden rapper is suing the Bell (or, to be more specific, Yum! Brands, which happens to own the gooey meat-and-cheese purveying franchise), saying that the chain "diluted the value of his good name." As you may recall, back in June, Taco Bell tried to pull a Dr. Pepper and circulated a statement asking 50 Cent to change his name to 79, 89 or 99 Cent -- a reference to some new cheap-o menu deal on offer at their restaurants. In exchange for pimping their south-of-the-border snacks, they'd make a $10,000 US charitable donation in Fiddy's (or Ninety-Nine's) name.
