Dr. James Dobson, the Focus on the Family broadcaster, has been inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame. It is the first religious program to receive this honor. The show has been on the radio for over 30 years. The reason this qualifies as celebrity news is the list of names who DIDN’T win because Dobson took home the prize. The religious broadcaster was nominated in “national active” category, with Bob Costas, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, and Howard Stern, none of whom made it into the Hall of Fame.
