Posted to the web 24 July 2008 Teddy Nwanunobi Abuja The Bank of Industry (BoI) Limited and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) have entered into an agreement to explore partnership opportunities between the two institutions. This follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was signed between the two institutions to that effect in far-away Vienna, the Austrian capital. Coming out of a high-level meeting that held at the UNIDO headquarters in the European country, the Managing Director and CEO of BoI, Ms Evelyn Oputu, and the Director-General of UNIDO, Dr. Kandeh Yumkella, put pen to paper on an MoU that was designed to provide for the establishment of appropriate working arrangements in capacity building for BoI staff and its customers, particularly on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in...
