EDA moving to get VW suppliers

Jackson County Economic Development Authority President knows Jackson County is in the hunt to lure companies that will eventually supply Volkswagen with parts for the vehicles the company will build in Chattanooga, Tenn. "I think we have a good shot at some suppliers," Rogers said after attending a meeting in Birmingham on Tuesday. "For some it may be an uphill battle, but we're still in the hunt." Volkswagen chose Chattanooga as the location for its new facility, which will build mid-size sedans, over Huntsville and a site in Michigan.
