(NYSE: ASR; BMV: ASUR), (ASUR) the first privatized airport group in Mexico and operator of Cancun Airport and eight other airports in southeast Mexico, today announced results for the three-month period ended June 30, 2008. 2Q08 Highlights(1): -- EBITDA(2) increased by 19.75% to Ps.531.9 million. -- Total passenger traffic was up 9.59%. -- Total revenues rose by 11.78%, mainly due to increases of 21.43% in non-aeronautical revenues and 7.35% in aeronautical revenues. -- Commercial revenues per passenger rose by 12.66% to Ps.49.29 per passenger. -- Operating profit increased by 20.73%. -- EBITDA margin was 65.78% compared with 61.40% in 2Q07.
