The Sofia Appellate Court confirmed Thursday the three-year sentence for pedophilia against the Bulgarian Member of Parliament Vladimir Kuzov. The now independent MP, who is a former member of the nationalist Ataka party, was sentenced in May 2007 for having sex with a 13-year old boy. The Court also found evidence that he had engaged in sexual activities with two other underage boys. After his first sentence, Kuzov promised to resign from the Parliament if it was confirmed. However, he is now set to appeal it for the second time before the Supreme Cassation Court.
