Further heartbreak for Brit as deal to sell his Australian life on eBay falls through

The ex-pat who sold his entire life on eBay has spoken of his disappointment after revealing that the sale fell through. Ian Usher, who emigrated to Australia six years ago, sold his house, car, job and even access to his friends on the internet auction site for £192,000 following the break-up of his marriage. But the 44-year-old, originally from Darlington, said neither the buyer or any of the other top bidders were able to complete on the sale. Ian Usher is 'disappointed' after the deal to buy his life fell through Speaking from his home in Australia, Mr Usher said: 'It has not gone very well at all. 'None of the highest five or six bidders were able to go ahead and complete the sale.'
