Crash kills one, injures four

One person was killed and four people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Winton Road. • Photos: Winton Road crash The crash involved a van, an SUV and a car and happened in the 5700 block of Winton near McKelvey Road just before 5 p.m. Springfield Township Police Chief David Hemphold said the driver of the car, an Oldsmobile Ciera, died at the scene. Two people in a Volkswagen van and two in a Chevrolet Blazer were taken to area hospitals. Their names and conditions were not released.
