The goal is some major improvements for the Veterans Memorial Amphitheatre at California Street and Fair Oaks Boulevard. Actually, said fundraising maven Kimberley Halcomb, the goal is to give an amazing company a more suitable place to perform. "I was appalled at what they have to put up with, especially in the heat," she said. "Teeny, tiny little rooms with fans … and they still put on great productions."
