Posted to the web 24 July 2008 Mtulisi Mafa and Augustine Hwata Harare ZIMBABWE captain Benjani Mwaruwari could miss the 2010 World Cup/Nations Cup qualifier against Guinea in September after being hit by a serious injury during pre-season training at his English Premiership side Manchester City. The Undertaker will miss the start of the new English Premiership season next month and could be out for as long as one month after he ruptured a thigh muscle during training in Manchester. Benjani is now doubtful for the Warriors' tie against Guinea at Rufaro on September 7 - a key game that the senior national team has to win to remain in contention for a place at the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa and the 2010 Nations Cup finals in Angola.
