She is feeling much better now. For those who asked, she has had two surgeries for endometriosis, and has good pain relief for several years after surgery, but then the endometriosis lesions grow back, and the pain returns. Sadly, there is no cure. Even hysterectomy is not a cure, as many women will sadly have endometriosis return, even after a hysterectomy. Some of the drugs used to treat endometriosis, like Lupron, have nasty side effects, such as bone loss.
