Bring your sound system outside

Sturdy, decorative sound speakers have come to patios and yards. No longer do music lovers have to drag that extra pair of indoor stereo speakers outdoors to enjoy their favorite tunes. Now speakers are specifically made for outdoor use and even can be made to match the landscaping, while hooking up to an indoor sound system. Even whimsical frog speakers get into the act. "Rather than just dragging your speakers (outside), installing a hard-wired exterior speaker is a cleaner application, a better performance," said Steve Bemus of Systems of Nevada, a Sparks firm that sells and installs outdoor speakers.
