Federer preps for Olympics

Roger Federer, on the rebound after his dramatic Wimbledon loss to Spain's Rafael Nadal, is in Toronto this week for the Rogers Masters tournament (no, it is not named after him), but his sights already are firmly set on Beijing. The top-ranked Swiss is eager to add an Olympic gold medal to his loaded résumé. He finished fourth at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, and was upset in the second round of the 2004 Athens Olympics by Tomas Berdych. Federer will head to China from Toronto next week and fly to New York for the U.S. Open immediately after the Olympics. Most of the top 10 players -- including Nadal -- will play in Beijing.
