Jul 24 2008 By Stephen Stewart Exclusive £400k Haul At Home Of Uk's Biggest Dvd And Cd Counterfeiter THE man behind Britain's biggest-ever domestic pirate CD and DVD racket was jailed for 38 months yesterday. John Croy, 61, was branded the Mr Big of counterfeiters after he was caught with almost £400,000 worth of dodgy discs. The disabled ex-Navy technician's former council house was at the heart of amassive operation. Eight police officers and an investigator from the British Phonographic Industry raided the flat three years ago after a tip-off from the Daily Record. They spent 11 hours there removing thousands of fake music and computer CDs, DVDs and hi-tech copying equipment.
