Check if a doctor has been disciplined by the state Department of Regulation and Licensing. Go online at drl.wi.gov or call (608) 266-2112. Call ahead to make sure a doctor is covered by your insurance company. Ask the doctor for an estimate of how much a procedure will cost. If you have complaints about any professional with a state license, contact the Department of Regulation and Licensing. The agency can act only if it hears from consumers.
