Christina Stolarz / The Detroit News STERLING HEIGHTS -- Even after a decade of living in a nice, well-kempt Sterling Heights neighborhood, Michelle and Sam Ricevuto haven't really enjoyed relaxing in their yard. The smell of cat urine that wafted from their neighbor's home on Irving Street has kept them indoors with their windows closed. "You want to live in your home, enjoy your yard, but we haven't been able to," said Michelle, 36. "The smell didn't change." But after three years of complaining to code enforcement and animal control officers and the Macomb County Health Department, the Ricevutos and other close neighbors are finally getting relief.
