The third annual Jersey Shore Film Festival is under way and ends Aug. 2 at the Jewish Community Center, Deal. It focuses on themes of friendship and family, and a key theme is education. A benefit for Imagine Academy, a school for children with autism spectrum disorder will be 8:30 p.m. July 27, and feature the comedy Open School Night, Jackie Mason: The Ultimate Jew, and other films. Films for the festival are chosen from submissions by filmmakers worldwide.
