Wide Support to the Five in Seville, Spain

A meeting of support of the five Cuban imprisoned since 1998 in the United States for fighting terrorism took place in the city of Vela de Triana, Seville. HAVANA, Cuba, July 23 (acn) Felipe Alcaráz, executive president of the Communist Party of Spain and Ricardo Rodríguez, Cuba’s General Consul in Andalucia, participated in the meeting organized by the Alvaro Cunhal Association from the Communist Party of Spain and the Enrique Líster group of the Youth Communist Party of Andalucia. Both officials condenmed the unjust action committed by the US government against Fernando González, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino, Gerardo Herández and René González, and also denounced the criminal blockade that Washington has maintained against Cuba for almost fifty years.
