They aren't cutting spending as much as people elsewhere. And most think they will be less secure financially next year. Those conclusions come from a new survey conducted by Country Financial, an insurance and financial services company based in Bloomington, Ill. "The good news is, people really are stopping short of tapping their credit cards and any savings that they have got to make ends meet," said Joe Buhrmann, manager of the advice center for Country Financial.
