10:32 PM EDT on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 By WCNC Staff CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Safety experts say if you own a laptop, you have a one in 10 chance of having it stolen. After his computer was stolen twice, south Charlotte resident James Walters started looking for protection. "After several robberies you start to think about how to secure your property better," Walters said. A victim of two burglaries in 10 months and so fed up with crime, Walters posted home security video on YouTube, showing a burglar rummaging through his home. He hopes someone can identify the intruder. "He's looking in to see if anyone is home," Walters said, describing the surveillance video. "Both times they stole my laptop."
