State Attorney's Race Gets Nasty

The race for State Attorney just got more nasty. F.O.P. President Nelson Cuba recently wrote State Attorney Harry Shorstein a letter- saying police officers are ignored when their cases are prosecuted. Cuba brought up the case of a 24 year old who was arrested on a gun possesion charge. the charges were reduced when former jaguar tony boselli called shorstein. we're told boselli went to bat for the man because he volunteers at boselli's community center. Plotkin says charges should not have been reduced but he claims cuba is trying to bullying the state attorney's office. State attorney candidate Jay Plotkin is accusing this opponent Angela Corey of having the President of the fraternal order of police do her political dirty work.
