Riggleman makes due with rotation

Seattle (38-63) at Toronto (49-51), Friday, 4:07 p.m. PT SEATTLE -- The Mariners rotation has rarely been intact this season thanks to a variety of injuries to multiple starting pitchers. And for the time being, that trend will continue. While the MRI Erik Bedard underwent on Tuesday didn't show extensive problems in his stiff left shoulder, interim manager Jim Riggleman said Wednesday that he doesn't think the left-hander will pitch before Aug. 1 -- obviously after the July 31 Trade Deadline. "We'll just stay as it is. [R.A] Dickey's been in there, [Miguel] Batista will be in there Friday. [Jarrod Washburn], [Carlos] Silva and [Felix] Hernandez ... they'll keep going out there," Riggleman said.
