Russia could slap a permanent ban on beef and kangaroo meat from four Australian processing plants. Russia has imposed temporary bans on meat coming from processing plants in eight countries, including Australia, following a crackdown by its inspectors. Three kangaroo and one beef plant are affected in Australia but the industry body, Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), has refused to identify them.
