BEIJING: China's basketball talisman Yao Ming has described his team's draw in the upcoming Olympic tournament as the worst he could have imagined, but is confident a quarter-final place is still possible. China has been placed in Group B alongside the United States, world champions Spain, African champions Angola, as well as European powers Germany and Greece. “This is the worst draw I can ever imagine,” Yao Ming said, according to the China Daily yesterday. “The other teams are very strong, but our goal stays the same.” China has set a target of finishing in the top six during the Olympics, but they will have to improve on a lacklustre performance at the recent Stankovic Cup, where they lost to Angola.
