Canada's Curling Elite Unite to support The Sandra Schmirler Foundation

TORONTO, July 23 /CNW/ - The Sandra Schmirler Golf Classic will be held on Monday July 28th, 2008 at the Thornhill Golf and Country Club, Thornhill, Ontario. Many of Canada's elite curlers will be in attendance; including 2008 Women's World Champions Jennifer Jones, Cathy Overton-Clapham, 2008 Men's World Champions, Ben Herbert and Mark Kennedy. Also in attendance will be 2007 World Champion Glenn Howard, Olympic Medalists Mike Harris (event co-chair) and Joan McCusker, former teammate of Sandra Schmirler.
