It is the stuff reality television is made of. And it had people all over the country glued to Lok Sabha Television like never before. Data collected from cable and satellite homes by aMap shows that 9.5 lakh people tuned in to Lok Sabha Television on July 21. The average viewership for the channel, that runs talk shows, documentaries and biographies of political leaders, is about 6 lakh. aMap officials pointed out that the viewership had increased by about 50% in just one day.
