The videogame for next year's big screen adaptation of the groundbreaking Watchmen graphic novel is doing things differently -- with episodic releases. The third-person brawler, developed by Danish studio Deadline Games, will arrive as downloadable episodes for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, tying into the release of the film, report MTV and Variety today. The two outlets have two different takes on the announcement. MTV notes that the game will act as a prequel to the film, and comic series, with the action taking place in a "subversive" 1970s -- the original story is set in 1985.
