By Paul Nielsen The Morning News SPRINGDALE - Ed Lucas almost wasted a five-hit night on Monday. After hitting four singles and a double, Lucas committed a two-out throwing error in the bottom of the ninth inning that allowed Springfield to tie the game at 7-7. But Lucas redeemed himself in the fourth extra frame with a two-run triple as the Naturals snapped a three-game losing streak with a 10-7 victory in 13 innings. It was Lucas' first triple of the year and his 11th extra-base hit in 196 at-bats. "I tried to throw away the previous six at-bats and just concentrate on that last at-bat," Lucas said. "I wanted to redeem myself for causing every one in Springfield to stick around for another four innings."
