But you don't have to wait until the film is released Aug. 24 - on the eve of the Democratic National Convention - to see and hear Blackwell, who lost his bid for governor in 2006. Blackwell is featured both in the trailer ( see above and below) and television ads for the film, titled "HYPE-The Obama Effect." "It's only when you begin to peel back the layers that you begin to see a disturbing pattern," Blackwell says at the start of the advertisment.
