Wausau Daily Herald • July 23, 2008 Ruling document included on right side of page Administrative Law Judge David Braithwaite said new violations were not serious enough to revoke a Wausau mother’s probation in her child neglect conviction, according to his written decision obtained by the Wausau Daily Herald. Jessica Kasten, 26, was arrested May 21 in Weston on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and obstructing an officer. Consuming alcohol was a violation of the 10-year probation sentence she received in April. Kasten received probation instead of up to 15 years in prison after pleading no contest to a felony child neglect charge in connection to the April 2007 death of her son.
