Luanda At least USD 25 million were spent by the Angolan Government between 2007 and 2008 on the rehabilitation and enlargement of northern Uije province's electrical energy network, states a report. According to a document, issued by the technical office of projects' management, there were installed generator sets of 650 and 100 KVA in 10 out of the province's 16 districts, as well as the recovery of Sanza Pombo middle tension energy supply network. Rehabilitated were also the public lightning supply networks in Uije, Negage, Quitexe, Quimbele and Sanza Pombo districts, that includes the exploitation of solar energy.
