Luanda Members belonging to Bilateral Mechanism of Political Consultation and Concerting between the Government and UNITA will meet next Thursday in Luanda to discuss matters related to peace consolidation and national reconciliation process, said an official source. According to a communiqué, the meeting will start at 10am, at the National Social Welfare and Productive Commission's meeting hall of Demobilised and Displaced People. The Bilateral Commission was created to settle possible set-backs, in the light of application of Luena's Memorandum of Understanding, to complete the Lusaka agreements, which formalised the instauration of peace in Angola, in 2002, after decades of armed conflict.
