Corn hits four-month lows on favorable weather SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Corn futures fell for a fourth-straight session Wednesday, losing as much as 4.9% to touch their lowest point in nearly four months on expectations of favorable weather for the critical pollination period. Corn futures for December delivery tumbled 4.9% to an intraday low of $5.63 a bushel, a level not seen since March 28. They pared losses in afternoon trading and closed down 1.75 cents, or 0.3%, to $5.91 a bushel on the Chicago Board of Trade.
