Chicago Beach Soccer Invitational

Every year somebody tells me I should take part in the Chicago Beach Soccer Invitational. And every year I politely decline. This year is no different. I once again passed. My soccer playing days over. Some would argue they never began. My only real accomplishment was scoring a goal for my Junior High team against Northwood. I'm still good friends with the goalkeeper I scored on and like to remind him about it every once in awhile. Yeah, I'm pathetic. If you're like me and do more watching than playing, the 2008 Chicago Beach Soccer Invitational takes place Saturday and Sunday at Montrose Beach.
